I am definitely missing something .. doesnt look anything like the other submissions :

You are used to play with tutorials and filters of JVID processes.
Well, in this particular case, it's even more important than with other processes.
I tried to underline this aspect when posting the filter and later on posting some examples: the effect produced varies substantially when changing the input parameters.
Just experiment.

Just one example using the image you showed:

- standard outcome (default parameters)


- with changed parameters (look at the outcome description)


Quite different, you don't think so?

...and this outcome is again different (another single parameter changed)



IMO it's a process just for you, who like playing with the filter...

If you up to now played with the tutorial, ask and talk with Issabella, I'm a lazy old man.... filter man.

with your filter i did get similar results.
I would like to go back and try the tutorial again
something didnt seem right - i think i will crop the image to a square before beginning
so that i dont have issues with image going outside the borders

Issabella -
The flowers in 211/212 are lovely
post 220 made me laugh because i have a squirrel that lays like that on my porch rail
in the sun and lets his legs hang down.. He's funny just laying there

So, now you see how the outcome can be different playing with the parms.
Both have their appealing: the first one keeps the dewdrops visible, the second one is more painterly.

Thanks Leftyleo for your experiments. It's great that you share the results, too.
Dinasset and I try that filters and tutorials give the user enough motivation to play with layers modes, opacities or settings to find different looks.
Gimp and Gmic offer so many possibilities to play.

I think it is time to post a new graphic effect. I hope you like it and contribute with your creations. Thanks a lot.
