Thanks Issabella.
Here is my interpreting filter, with some heretical steps, as usual.
I want to inform the users that the effect between following the tutorial and launching the filter could be (very) different, the main reason being that my filter works with a fixed internal image size, while the tutorial is applied to the source as it is, in its own dimension.
Which means that with small images the ("impressionistic") effect is much stronger following the tutorial.
