Medieval Armor Text plugin

This plugin will create both, a Steel plate background and a Medieval Armor Text.
Installing the plugin
For Windows users

1. Place the "pm_medieval_armor_text.py", and "LayerFX - 2.10, inside your "Personal GIMP plugins folder":
C:\Users\YourName or Users\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plugins
2. Place the the pattern "Armor", inside your "Personal GIMP patterns folder":
C:\Users\YourName or Users\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\patterns
3. Install the Font "War Priest" free to personal use. For commercial use read this: http://www.iconian.com/commercial.html

Plugin is located
GIMP's menu:
1. Python-Fu/Medieval Armor Text

Are you on Windows? If you're on Linux then let's see if one of the expert Linux user can help. Could be a translation error.

I'd like to have a bit darker the shield to get more contrast with the text. I applied this in my results. But you are the master. :hi5

I get a syntax error on line 242:
It should be> pattern = "Armor.jpg"
Not> pattern = "Armor.jpg")

It works now as expected in Linux.

Thanks for this one Pocholo. You are making nice plugins. I deleted the background layer so it can go on top of any image. I made text justification '0' for this this and of course you can use any font you like

The 'metallica font' is actually 'pastor of muppets' but every A and M is a huge arrow shape so ya gotta improvise

Maybe I got them here.
I've got a lot of fonts and you have to modify the pastor of muppets to get the outcome you want.
