Echo Trail Text plugin (updated to V2)

Me and my wife had been busy with the grandchildren lately and as a grandpa, :pipe

I love it. But I caught a break, so I wrote :keybdtype

another simple Text effect. This plugin will create a repeated text above an below the original text. I hope is useful for someone here!

*** Please make sure you have G'MIC install before running this script***
Version 2 change log:
Added a few options: Background color, Noise and round shape

Yes, of course. It's a nice effect. I used Rectangle to Circle by Tin.

Thank you for the script info, Issabella. You can do the same with the G'MIC filter found in, Kaleidoscope [Reptorian-Polar]
That is what I'm going to use since most users have G'MIC, it will save me time by not including a third party script.

This is the result with G'MIC

You're re-inventing the wheel

Filters > Map > Recursive transform not only does exactly what your script do but does have more options...

You are right, Patrice ahh... but my script have a name. My script have Colors, Noise, and a Round shape :hehe

Coders create codes to automate what other users can do manually using GIMP resources, like the same "Gegl Recursive Transform plugin" you used. For example; there is a few bevel scripts around, maybe you have one like "Select Bevel, GT Bevel, Add bevel. "But I can do what those script can do manually". Then again, whoever wrote the scripts try to make it easier (for other users like you and me), so we don't have to make our effects manually using that many plugins or steps,. Now we have it at a touch of one button.
Anyway, thank you for your information.
