I found this file and I'm happy with it. Can anyone still use it?

Manually it's also quite simple: scale the image to 1px × colors (or colors × 1px ), then "Palettes > Import palette" , and "Palettes > Palette to gradient".

Thanks for your explanation. Had never used it this way before. It was a bit of a puzzle, but it worked!
