I came across this on this site. it works in gimp 2.8 but no longer in 2.10.36. Can this still be repaired?

The script does not work well for all possible settings for Gimp-2.8 (uncheck the "Badger original image" option and you will get an error).
It works very slowly with a strange (for me) end result.
The good news is that the download is >15.
The bad news is that the downloaders will not release any patches for Gimp 2.10.
Tested only for Win with parameters (min, max, default).
Other errors possible.
