GEGL Frozen Gel Text plugin

Here are previews of the effect in GEGL syntax, is anyone interested in me turning this into a easy to use plugin? Also it will have alternative colors other then light blue and will be non-destructive in GIMP 3.

I haven't even started yet but here is an example of the hypothetical plugin in an alternative color then sky blue

I converted the GEGL syntax to the best of my ability to node connections in a .c file and this is how it turned out

YUCKY! I made a mistake somewhere in the graph and don't know how to fix this, I'm stuck on a technical problem.

I hope it gets solved soon, currently I have no idea what is wrong and I spend 10-15 minutes debugging

I got it working. Two major problems caused that bug above, both were solved. Now I just have to make final tweaks before releasing frozen gel.

I assume the plugin is done but I might make more modifications, Here is the source code to compile it. Later today I will post binaries.

This will only work on GIMP 3 or versions of GIMP 2.10 that use GEGL 4.50+, this is because it depends on native filter gegl:bevel that GEGL 0.4.48 does not have.

I have not made any changes since viewtopic.php?f=9&t=21596#p295629 , however, This plugin though on the verge of release is still not publicly released and I was thinking about changing the name from "Frozen Gel" to simply "Ice Text" and operation name from lb:frozen-gel to lb:icetext or whatever. If I change the operation name all presets and NDE filters for the source compile build users will break

I'm thinking about what to do. It might release any second it might release another day or two.

Linux is the same so we aren't going to bother hosting its binaries as duplicates, but Windows updated due to GIMP 3.0.8+ needing gettext
