I installed the application.

I have copied the files from Resynthesizer_v1.0-1686 to C:\Users\<user>\.gimp-2.6\plug-ins

I have also installed python 2.6

I cannot see any of the plug ins in GIMP?

Have you installed Python-2.6.6 or Python-2.6.4?
Because you need Python-2.6.4.

You also need PyGTK, PyCairo, and PyObject for windows installed.

If you have installed 2.6.6, follow these directions.
Un-install Python-2.6.6
Un-install Gimp-2.6.11 -
DO NOT un-install your user docs (the .gimp-2.6 folder in user files)
Keep those intact.

Re-install Python-2.6.4
RESTART your machine
Install PyGTK
RESTART your machine
Install PyCairo
RESTART your machine
Install PyObject
RESTART your machine
Install Gimp-2.6.11 and make sure to select the Python square (custom install)

Here is the entire package (ignore the readme in the package)
This zipped pack contains every thing you need for Python-Fu install.Just follow the above directions.
http://download628.mediafire.com/8b3al7 ... 2.6.11.rar

IF you have installed 2.6.4 and NOT 2.6.6 - follow these directions
Go to Start/Control Panel/System
Select advanced tab - select environment variables and add the path C:\Python26 to PATH.

That should get you going correctly with Python-Fu :)

One other thing you should look at before this is to see if you actually placed the execute binaries in the plugins folder and not the Resythesizer folder with the plug-ins in it.All the executes (python files) have to be in the plugins folder. So Gimp can read them.

The resynthesizer will not show up in gimp... instead it is labeled as "Heal Selection." Filters>Enhance>Heal Selection
