Hi there, I'm happy to announce a new release of the G'MIC framework (the 1.5.0.9).
Feel free to update if you are using the plug-in, since new 'official' filters will be done only for this new version. There are some minor changes and extensions to the G'MIC script language that will not be supported by older versions.

as now i am hooked by 3d fractal and i found out that some gmic filter are quite good to edit fractals to make details pop out

samij already compiled for gimp 64 bit
tested on partha-2.7.5 and my gimpvideo hack works well ( take care to install the right folder, there is also a separate folder with the command line to be placed somewhere else)

PS you may have to move away bashcompletation exe to the plugin, that should go in the command line folder if you plan to use command line...if not you may just delete it, disturbs when gimp loads

Please drop in a remark when there is a version for the mac!

Also one small tip for GIMP 2.8 users. The installer proposes a default path tailored for the 2.6 version of GIMP. If you are using GIMP 2.8, you need to replace '2.6' by '2.8' in the proposed installation path. I've tested the plug-in with 2.8, and everything works fine on Win32.

Thanks for the heads up David. I still have to wait for samj or other compiler guru to compile this one for 64-bit since I already know that 32-bit G'MIC is not friendly to 64-bit GIMP (not sure why since other 32-bit GIMP plugins work in in 64-bit GIMP). Hopefully it will get a compile shortly.

Well when I run Gimp2.8 samj's 64bit throws an error "application was unable to run....blah blah blah(typical windows error)" but it runs fine inside of GIMP except with the user filters never showing after refresh. Gonna try an uninstall and reinstall of it *again*

EDIT:
Still throws error (0xc000007b) (Gonna try and use 32 bit instead, might work)
And the user filters still never show.*sigh

I admit I cannot test the plug-in on Win64, so I trust Samj for her version.
Maybe she could help.

got rid of zlib1.dll and it ran fine now but still no filters update.
