Lyle I have just changed script re-download, now if you deselect Gloss and save layers your tone layer will be there. Also Tile polish adjustment sets the opacity of the selblur layer.

Draconian the grout no longer uses a pattern, it uses the method you described, set your grot heit to '0' to flatten grout. Thanks guys for your observations.
Lyle lens ditortion looks good but uses a non-default Plugin.
If you can do similiar affect using GMIC then that would be great, woops lens distortion is a default Plugin.

Lens distortion was just for fun Graechan. The addition of G'MIC's Local Orientation really can give the tiles gloss. :)

Lyle I have been playing with lighting affects for some time so I used that instead of GMIC.

That's cool Graechan; your result definitely shines the stones too. Again, I definitely appreciate the effort and hope you post the Script-fu at the registry; definitely hope at GIMPScripts. :)

Lyle just added tile-neatness to menu and the script will keep all layers including gloss and selblur layers, no nead to deselect gloss.

Lyle I just changed tile-neatness to allow setting to 2 decimal places, as per the mosaic plugin. Sorry I didn't pick up the error earlier. allready uploaded to reflect the change. It's been a lot of fun keeping up with you and Draconian.

thanks but ALL the credit goes to Graechan and everyone in the thread that helped make this the fabulous script it is. All I did was pick a nice photo to use. It looks even cooler in it's larger size:

This is a really neat effect. I love the what Lyle, Drac and others has been able to achieve. Graechan's script is a great tool, demonstrated very effectively by cecilia.

Big Kudos goes out to everyone for their efforts. :gimp

Sometimes glitches can be considered features Graechan. Still, thanks again for both creating and continuing improving this cool Script-fu. :)

Nice script. Graechan! I used a copy of the original image as the top layer and set the layer mode to Color. It made it brighter and more colorful.
