Reminds me of a fun family story. My grand-parents, in the 30s, bought a large country house (still in the family). They were very serious and devout people, likely more than what the current crop of GOP candidates tries to look like. The house had a long terrace that my grand-dad got secured with a wrought iron railing. Nobody noticed anything for 50 years. Then in the 80s I noticed it. I asked my father, who told me I was dirty-minded but laughed a lot , because he hadn't noticed in all these 50 years. The question is still open whether my grand-dad knew, or was joked at by the blacksmith, or even if the backsmith didn't mean it either.

Ah, yes, the railing: it is sequence of this element, with the vertical dashed lines as symmetry axes:

The railing got covered by a rose tree so this remained somewhat hidden for several decades (the house is not used in winter where the foliage has fallen)
