today i tried to make a bevel for my Bullet Proof text-effect and realized that something like this is hard to make

i tried all the techniques i know (BumpMapping, the Bevel script, layerfx, the dd technique with the Emboss filter, filling with a dimpled gradient as a bumpmap, etc.), but either all these bevels are more or less soft or you cant just bevel the edges.

Your Chisel script is this hard bevelling i was after - is there a way to modify it, so that only the edges are bevelled ?

I would keep the original transparent text and run chisel on the base layer. :)

Started out with G'MIC Stencil and facked the metallic background using gradient and added texture. Not rocket science work thanks to G'MIC. :)
