As someone earlier in this thread, I would like to know how you created your texture (I lOVE IT! Still can't get over it..). Specifically, the stroke. The "seamlessness" via kaleidoscope plug is understood. Please find time to do if not a full blown tutorial, then, at least, a quick run down.

I've been trying to figure it out, I realized that I can't come up with a solution neither in Gimp nor Photoshop.

I actually responded to him at Deviant. Since the Spiralgraph is already circular, you don't need to do any of the steps from Pan and Bow and earlier; just the rest from this tut: http://justpaste.it/edit/838127/e9aa8b08

Then Mehdi's Kaleidoscope filter makes it Seamless. Again, because of GIMP 2.8's dynamic brush response, you just need a single layer of this brush (the vertical) and stroke the path created by your Spirograph output P-and-B.

For some addition steps, I started with a stroked Spiralgraph like this and used similar Droste settings as shown below. Again, it's Mehdi's Kaleidoscope filter that makes it seamless, but you need to play with the sliders or you will get floaters which won't make a real lace.

Hey Lyle this would make some great, and realistic looking embroidery results also.

Thanks Rod; again, I really do like GIMP's new dynamic brush. Still waiting on the patches that Partha already is implementing and getting to wonder if I should just install Partha's installer over my current and be done with it. lol

I mean, he's fixed the jpeg preview, and already implemented the gimprc fix. Only bug left is the color management brush lag issue. Not sure how long that will take and I believe (and do hope) the gurus release 2.8.1 soon. If I knew what dll Partha changed, I would just extract and put it in my GIMP folder, but I'm so confused. lol
