I know this is is a pointless question but does anybody know what the purpose of the transmogrifier sript is?

I seem to recall there is a filter in G'MIC that does nothing. I've never understood what it's there for.

there is ..I requested it, i found useful combined with the Gmic input/output options:

as example
input all visible layers output new image, will export all visible layers on a new image
or same output but input active layer and below" will export the active layer and all below on a new image

EDIT hopefully fixed most of the typo
