Pogo, I am not able to get to my molly/users/.gimp/brushes so I have to save it to pictures then copy it from there into my brushes. It doesn't give me too many options to get where I want to go since the paths are different in Fedora. No problem though. I don't make that many brushes anyway.

Nope that doesn't work, I tried that, I can't get any further than the molly folder. If I save it to pictures or any other folder I am able to get to, it will work but not .gimp-2.8/brushes.
It needs to be able to go to home/view/show hidden files/gimp-2.8/brushes.

Doesn't work for me pogo. Are you using Fedora-17? This is what I get, no way I can get to the .gimp folder through that script.

I have the same problem in my OSX as Molly . I just slap stuff onto my desktop and then I can go to the proper file and drag and drop it from the desktop. I am sure there is some secret I am missing, but so far, this is what I have to do.

Molly try to press <alt +. > The keyboard shortcut that should work in Fedora,may change the settings http://www.liberiangeek.net/2011/01/set ... -laughlin/
I'm sorry but I have no more ideas.

@2-ton
OSX is still a mystery to me.
