Can someone make a script for that uses these images and puts it in overlay mode? I just want a shortcut to importing them everytime I want to use them? A simple drop down that loads these images and sets them in overlay maybe?

Just to tired to bother trying to learn python-fu or script-fu.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks guys. Samj, that is really close to what I would like. Is it possible to put these into a drop down so that only one is loaded upon a choice? Than have it auto put into overlay mode? (Also I can change it to load a local copy (much faster))

I can't help you with the drop down menu part but if you want the files to load locally.
1. Put the 4 grain files in, .gimp-2.8\tmp folder.
2. Open the script in a text editor.
3. At the bottom change the SF-STRING path like so,
../tmp/grain1.jpg
../tmp/grain2.jpg
