I recompiled the Beautify plug-ins to work in a Windows 32 bit Gimp-2.6 environment.

This newest update to 5.3 adds the new simple-border textures.

Install-
1) create the texture-border\custom AND rip-border\custom directories in the UserFolder\.gimp-2.6 folder. (simple-borders will unzip to its own folder already so there is no need to create it.)
2) rip-border-folders.zip - unzip folder to your UserFolder\.gimp-2.6\rip-border folder
3) texture-border-folder.zip - unzip folder to your UserFolder\.gimp-2.6\texture-border folder
4) BeautifyWin32_Gimp-2.6-v5.3.7_RD.zip - unzip folder to your UserFolder\.gimp-2.6\plug-ins folder
5) simple-border.zip - unzip to your UserFolder\.gimp-2.6\ folder

Restart Gimp - The filters will be found in Filters>Beautify

That's it.

btw is from you a zip full of plugin called ... oppss i saved its content but i deleted the zip i must hope in my memory, something as "gimp-2.8_plugin_RD " ?

i found yesterday cleaning up my download folder the content seems quite useful , it is still update ?

I mean obviously gmic and few others will need anyway a update but when you did that compilation ?

I am not sure which file you are talking about PC.

the screenshoot is of just a part , inside are 258 files , all plugin (and related dll and folders )

and yes the name was gimp.2.8_plugin_RD.zip

Back to Beautify i see that in the zip are only the executives i suppose i should use for the material the folders that were in the older build..or i am missing something ?

plugins go in your
PORTABLE - lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins
INSTALL - UserFolder\.gimp-2.6\plug-ins

@ PC - The two folders you need are downloadable from the first post for Beautify Gimp-2.8.

Also yes that plug-in zip file is from a little while back (about a month ago) when i zipped up my entire plug-ins folder and shared it here.

I will compile the 5.3 version for Gimp-2.6 tonight Graechan.
