i didn't see a 2.6 or 2.8 indication but i saw several scripts posted before last gimp

We (the GIMP Scripts elves) have an ongoing task to check the existing scripts for compatibility and update the details accordingly, but there's lots to check and it's not a quick process...

maybe list and mark (i.e. "for gimp-2.6 AND gimp-2.8" "Gimp-2.8 only" "gimp_2.6" only) that already checked will help to speed up

I mean will make easier to contribute to test the remaining scripts (avoiding duplicated work) and at the same may offer a list of what already tested

Obviously will remain a work in progress but so users may benefit of the progresses in real time

We will be tagging each script's post with GIMP 2.6 or GIMP 2.8 (or both) and also tagging the files database. We want to be able to easily link to the scripts like so...

All 2.8 compatible scripts..

Just click any tag in a post, or any tag in the tag cloud at the bottom of the screen, to list scripts by that tag.

And if the author's name is multi-part, then you need to do it like this:

http://gimpscripts.com/tag/rob-antonishen/

with a - instead of a space

In addition to what paynekj said, you can also just click on that author's name in the post's tag list or in the tag cloud.

Just an acknowledgment personally from me to the GIMP Script elves...I for one really appreciate all the effort you guys put in for us the users...without you guys we would never be able to create the wonderful things we can.. So a big thank you from me to all of you.
