When you hit the 'Refresh' button, it updates the plugins. If you try it, I'm sure you'll like it!

I trust you mean Filters > Script-Fu > Refresh Scripts. It doesn't change a thing for me. I still have no light settings.

No; G'MIC has a built in refresh button (sort of obscure). Just click it (have to be online of course) and it will update all the built in presets if an update exists. :)

I like the way the new Lathe option works. I have made some pretty cool looking objects. But I receive an error at times. (See attached image.) Am I setting something too high? Is there a limit on the size of the image? Can someone offer some advice on this error?

I get that from time to time, especially when I set the precision over 0.5

Yes, one of the first things i do whenever i open C'MIC is push that little button to see what surprises are in store.There always seems to be a new addition each time.David really outdoes himself with this plug-in suite.
