Obtain different shades of gray from a RGB image

Filters > G'MIC > Testing > Samj > Grizou

Just did a quick test using an image that I took last year samj. I really like b/w result and it does feel like an Ansel Adams like result (yes, I did clean up the sky some). Thanks for sharing it.

There is a small error is corrected, you should reload G'MIC filters.

I think it is a filter that allows a maximum of possibilities.

I agree (infinite possibilities) and will refresh soon. I like the zone like abilities (it's how I made the clouds stand out quite well from the blue sky; the original color (not finding the link but did share it last year) not so much) that you get when you change the sliders definitely samj.

This filter allows effects with 2 colors (black and white) : Zone "R+V+B / R+G+B", difference between "Cut Valeur 1" and "Cut Valeur 2" = 1

Filter "Grizou" is changed.
Decomposition of the image in different modes is possible.
Thank you to Patdavid for the cause of this change ( viewtopic.php?f=23&t=5770 ).
I have attached the image proposed by Ofnuts (Desaturate.png) for visualizing the effects.
