Hello,

is there any script to make a "tunnel"? the only thing I manage to find is polar coordinate filter, but it is too much. So it should be an "incomplete" polar coordinate filter.

so for example, I have this cloud picture: http://night-fate-stock.deviantart.com/art/above-the-clouds-304553983

and I want to make it into a "cloud tunnel" like this:
http://griphinator.deviantart.com/art/C ... -181153857

or maybe this one better represents what I want to achieve:
http://dragonleviosas.deviantart.com/ar ... -156082164

If I use polar coordinates filter, the outer part usually is "too distorted".

I hope really hope you guys understand what I mean.

Thanx for the helps :D

Pan to Bow script- http://registry.gimp.org/node/20869

set to 360 (I had to flip the picture vertically first)

First create your best effort cloud ring (made horizontally seamless cloud line and ran Pan to Bow Script-fu set to 360 degs).

Now run Mathmap's Droste preset:

Do some addition clone/heal work and voila. :)

Fixed my ring and played with the Droste settings to give a wider ring and bigger center hole. :)

G'MIC doesn't give you the spiraled droste effect; it's more russian doll style, so, I don't think so Esper. Now, I gotta run. :)
