Bonjour,

From an image :
File > Filters > Render > Spirals / Spirales ...

Each spiral is saved as a path. Circles are also saved as path.

The animated spiral causes me to feel like i am in that time travel series i watched as a kid.

A little extra information :
This script-fu can create logarithmic spirals (this seems to be a rare thing) , an illustration in the example and in the message
