Bonjour,

The script-fu is in the .zip file.

Access on the image with an active selection by :
Select > Selection Transformation 1 ...

Selections are transformed into polygons or stars.

Polygons : The vertices are on one ellipse in the "bounding box".

Stars : The vertices of the star are on two ellipses
- An outer ellipse in the "bounding box".
- A smaller ellipse defined by percentage.

Each selection is saved as a path.

This script can create a small path "Path_Inbetweener" to use "path inbetweener" created by Ofnuts :
http://gimp-path-tools.sourceforge.net/ ... nbetweener

Edit 20130610 Version 2 :
New option "Type : Bounding Box "

Edit 20130610 :
New option "Type : Ellipse inclined / Ellipse inclinee "
Archive updated.

@The Warrior

Personally I program with functions that are not declared "Deprecated" ...

I do not know if this is useful to go back to older versions :puzzled

I understand. I tried 2.8, didn't care for it. Thanks just the same.

samj do I download and install the file in the first post again. I install it just after you first posted it. Have you edited it with a new script?

Hi SamJ
I tell you what I told Graechan about Lace script:
- if the user has Dynamics on (Random Colours), the stroke is executed using the active gradient instead of the selected color for the stroke
Is it possible to patch that behaviour?
Thanks

@Dinasset

Here is what I understand about the setting of random colors :
The colors are randomly extracted from the gradient you chose.
So you can use a gradient with many colors, example : "Full saturation spectrum CCW".

Yes, SamJ, you're perfectly right!
What I was trying to say was a way to inform the user that the parameter colour is misleading if dynamics is on

Have I missed something? How do you get random colours or gradient in this script?
