I got the same error as Blighty II. I then edited lines 205 and 514 in the script. I changed the value "65" to ".65" and it now works fine here.

I didn't expect any surprises like the Blighty II and the racer-x, I made the same change in advance for the race-x (65 vs .65).
Script running fine. :pengy
. :tyspin :tyspin :tyspin .

racer-x thanks for the correction.
MareroQ, I didn't know that you had updated this script, thanks for the initiative to recover old scripts; in particular those from Elsamuko available in GimpScripts.

Graechan, thank you so much for taking your time and reliving some (or all?) Of your old scripts.

This is a very small detail:

In old plug-in-bump-map "ambient" parameter was in the range from 0 to 255 (not 100).
In new plug-in-bump-map "ambient" parameter is in the range from 0 to 1 - so old 65 is now 65/255 = 0.2549 (not 0.65).
It all depends on the author... :yes
I tried to be as close to the original as possible ;) ...

It works for me in Gimp 2.10.22:

Even though it works, I've realized that the text isn't straight, It goes crooked on the O in H2O

Yes, the value of "0.25" seems to be just about right.

It's beyond my capability as yet to use the new 'GEGL bump map' in a script so I'll set ambient to 0 which is about right for both

As far as I understand you do infact use the old bumpmap plug-in ...but with the min/ max values of the new one. The old bumpmap plug-in is still there for scripts to use, but hidden from the menu.

I removed the file plugin bump-map from my plugins folder but it still showed in procedure browser but cannot be found

When selected for use from Filters/Map It also showed as the old version so where is the new version

You should find it in your GIMP installation folder (C:\ program files) here:
\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins\emboss\emboss.exe
But, as they removed the menu registration from it, it doesn't show in GIMP Menues. But it's the one we use when we write scripts, as GEGL isn't in the pdb, so we can't script that easily

Thanks Nelo it doesn't take much to confuse an old schemer, I decided to set Ambient to 0 anything under 1 all looked the same

Every time I play with the Ambient setting in bumpmap, I rarely see any difference. I often wonder if it does anything at all....

Hello,
I've just tested the "Air Bubbles" script. I am using Gimp version 2.10.12 and GMic 2.9.2. in the German version.

The script doesn't work for me. The Toll does not show an error message but hangs after the start. Are additional filters necessary for the function?

Many greetings from Germany Hardy

Don't ask me why I haven't played with this one yet. Fantastic Script-fu. Did do some things to add very tiny reflections of me into the edges. lol
