Edit : 20130628 : Version 4 with Variation Of Distance Between The Paths : "No variation" "Variation +" "Variation -" "Random Spacing" & Coefficient Of Variation Of Distance (Variation + , Variation -)
Edit : 20130626 : Version 3 With a new option : "Reduction VS Increase " '("Reduction" "Increase Mode 1" "Increase Mode 2" "Increase Mode 3") and Paths Iterative Reduction/Increase (Isohypse) ...

I did it on a VERY large very square selection at 10 pixels (default value) and let me say it takes its sweet time lol...
Nothing against the script I was simply playing around trying to figure out exactly how it worked and managed to run it on a full Desktop background size square selection lol

Now that I got this figured out very cool!

One question how do you stroke all the paths? Do you have to do it by hand?

- Shift-click one of the paths to make them all visible/invisible at the same time
- Merge visible paths
- Stroke the resulting path

I also have a script to stroke all the paths, each on their own layer, so you can make an animation instead.

:tyspin Mario Bross , there are 3 possibilities to increase selection.

another (probably) silly question by me.
because the script produces a series of (very nice) paths, I thought it could be possible to call path-blend afterwards (like with pursuit-curve), but at least in my environment I get the path-blend greyed out.
do I make something wrong? or should I perform some action before calling path-blend?
thanks

an addition to the previous question:
if I create simple isohypses from a rectangle, then I aside create a simple (default) pursuit-curve, I can run path blend from the image created by pursuit script but using the paths created by the isohypse script
thus, there are "characteristics" of the pursuit image that isohypse does not have
how may I add those characteristics?
thanks

@Dinasset

Select a layer before applying the brush or anything else.

Version 5 of this script does this automatically.

A couple years ago I posted a script that has one option (Shaped Inward) quite similar to this, but only inside selections:
