Metal Mesh Script Rel4.3 [Bugfix for colors and mesh shapes]

The 'Metal Mesh' script follows a great tutorial by he4rty Here,and I hope all will enjoy

It can create a background for your layer or if you have made a selection it will fill the selection

Menu shown below↓ is self explanatory and the script can function within 2.8 'layer groups' or 2.6

Menu Location is Filters/Render/Pattern/Metal Mesh...

Logo Menu Location is Script-Fu/Logos/Metal Mesh Logo

Due to the number of options available to the user with this script, it is recommended that you update GIMP with the new Scrolling Script-Fu Interface. Otherwise, you may not be able to access all of the options for this script.

Always replace any existing 'Metal Mesh' script with a new relrease

; Rel 0.02 - Added Logo Script

; Rel 0.03 - Bugfix for text size

; Rel 0.04.3↓ - Added Metal type and tint options [bugfix for colors and mesh shapes]

Thanks he4rty I was hoping you would like it as it follows your tute with a few little changes to make scripting easier,
I did it yesterday but wanted to make sure all had finished the tutorial before posting

I have no idea why I couldn't do it though when I was pretty sure all along the a script would be able to. I have done the tut several times unsuccessfully. Finally I have got it. Thanks again.

It seems like every time I come up with an ideal, someone has already done it. I'm not good as you guys/gals, but seems like you guys/gals have been there, done that. Now there is a script on what I have been working on .WOW! The first picture is based on some of what I'm still learning, the second is using the script. Thanks to everyone for being a good teacher, you guys/gals have done a good job with your tutorials.

When I grow up, I want to be a GIMPER.

I ran this script over a picture the other day keeping the layers. I took all the layers out except the grid and come up with this

I made a logo script as well that output something like this image↓ I found in my Metal Mesh folder, now I just have to find the script
