Kirbzz thank you I wrote the script to give give give GimpChat members easy access to short text animations

If you are into scripting you will find it easy to add to the existing effects

Nicely done Sallyanne. :)
I couldn't help but notice though that if you flip the blue text layers vertical it would look like it was spinning a full revolution each time.

Graechan is there a way to add combine bg and possibly export as SWF to the script?

Rod I made an error with the Hues effect by not barring scroll, otherwise with the other effects I have already combined the background, if save as swf is a default plugin then there is no reason I cannot add the feature.
But is it needed?(I have Menu size to consider as well) Please let me Know

Fun script, but I am having a lot of trouble figuring out how to make the animation smooth. I always seem to need a manual for all the sliders!

So do I, it's a script I wrote some time ago (July 2013), along with L.O.T.R. Letter Drop but bumped up to remind new users of their existence while I still exist :hehe

Well, it's not much, and the movement is uneven...anyone know why?...but it's a beginning. It will take a lot of trial and error to get some of the great effects that others are doing. It's a really nice script, and works well on my mcgimp so far.

doubling your 'Number of Frames' and halving your 'Delay Time' settings will help Smooth Animation
The 'Amount of Effect' Slider can also effect smoothness
But the effect you have selected has a greater influence on the center of the text, than the ends
