I compiled the newest version of Liquid Rescale. You will find the zip which includes the binary inside attached here. Sorry i do not have a 64 bit environment set up so i can not compile for 64 bit.

Place the execute file in your gimp-2.xx/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins folder and restart GIMP. You will find the filter here.

Enjoy! :)

I get this error Rod; usually I get this when a dll is missing. Seen it before anyway. :)

That was it Rod; I indeed had the liblqr-1-0.dll but mine was 240K and yours only 89K. Mine may have been the 64-bit version since I believe I was indeed using the 64-bit version compiled. Thanks a heap. :)

Can you post a screenshot of the interface?

Thank you.

Yeah i don't get that either. I am going to check and make sure i got the right GIT file. I compiled the current GIT master so i thought it was correct. I will double check. :bigthup

Cool then Rod; did notice a few additiona features that were not in the version I had before so figured it was at least newer then the one I had. I guess the guy just forgot to update a few of the entries in the info area. Won't be the first time that happed and it definitely won't be the last (talking about other software packages; lol). :)

Rod it functioned in a script with the same settings as the old Lqr
so I guess it has no new features

According to the Libre Graphics World article, this version is only to update it to better fit with GIMP 2.8:

http://libregraphicsworld.org/blog/entr ... r-gimp-2.8
Quote:
The only change in this release is the switch to a new object API in GIMP 2.8. That should remove incompatibility warnings for users of v2.8.

Yes i believe that is the only change. To make it compatible with Gimps API. I also assume some changes went into effect for GEGL under the hood. :) This filter is now going to be part of Gimps default arsenal of plugins. beginning with Gimp-2.10.

Bravo!
