These Scripts are in the category of WIP

I put the script together from bits and pieces I had saved in my File thingies Folder so I hope it can be of some use
There is also a second script for saving images from Gimp to a default or selected directory using a default or selected name
All saved file names are also given a random number
Also a confirmation box will show the actual file Name and Location of the saved file

for Export to Directory you must edit paths and default name
at the top of the script as shown below [making sure you create 2 folders for the paths]

(define default-name
"Graechan" ;----------------------------------->set default name here
)
;
(define default-dir
"C:/Users/user/Desktop/Posted to GimpChat" ;--->set default path here
)
;
(define default-xcf-dir
"C:/Users/user/Desktop/In progress" ;---------->set default xcf path here
)
;<----------->Do not edit below this line---------------------------------------->

Thank Graechan, i didn't reply before because i am still fighting with gimp (i had 5 different installed, none working as i wish) so try was a bit slow ...at the moment this is the first and only third party script installed in gimp

And works well , i am really happy with it :yesnod

I wonder i would be possible add a last optional "node" to the batch :

a call to a frame script , if possible a frame script that may recover the name of the image file and use it as title

In any case, with frames or not i am really happy with this script

And since i have some hundreds images to process with i could test it well..

Yet i am not convinced by the script name ,"Scale and reSave "

yes more or less is what it does (more or less because to be pedantic it "Scales and Export") but says no much of its potential

i like more "Adapt to Wallpaper" :

that give more hints of what the script may do , create series of wallpapers adapted to the most commune screen size from any image of sufficient quality

PhotoComix I have changed the Script title as per your request and if you could let me know what type of border script you want to use as an option I should be able to modify.
Below↓ is a simple borderize edge example
