I had to double each dancer so that it would be dancer 1, dancer 1; dancer 2, dancer 2; etc. in that order.

"Video->Frames Density" (default setting will increase the density by a factor of two, precisely what you need)

The 5 text layers I imagine would have to be looped in order to have it 20 layers in the final image.

"Video->Move Path" (again, the default settings will "loop" your source layers as needed).

I'll give that a try. I need to make the text, dancers and background. Use the background as bk_000001.xcf and pile the others on top of the bg. Found some cossack dancer dings and a Russian font. Outta be interesting.

This time I'm saving each image as an xcf file. Should have done that with the hip-hop one so I could just go back and try the GAP method.

I just figured out a better way to put glitter on the text. I was looking at my sig and  snow! I used fencepost's animated snow filter with a selection and made an instant 20 layers of text with glitter on them. Each glitter layer is different.

It makes it faster and easier.

Here is an example of snow glitter.

GAP will not change the density of the frames unless they are named frame_000001.xcf, duplicating, and saving the image as that copies the dancers as one layer.

So I need to make a new frames_000001.xcf file, duplicate that 20 times and bring the two animations into that.

I don't know if there's a way to double each dancer frame in move path or not. Will have to explore or just do it manually.

I ended up duplicating each dancer layer.

Thank you.
I found this really nice piece of cossack dancers jewelry here ... trying to figure out how to incorporate it but it just doesn't seem to go with the animation.

You could make them the dancers...lol
Just render their legs for each layer to be in a dif position....heheh
That would be interesting.

Nice work though O! =)

Since gimp 2.8 is going to have the cage feature, I think I'll wait for that.
