I already post a similar request on the Bimp github but seems vanished
But may be interesting open a discussion here because other may be interested, and also the proposed hack should be no too difficult to implement :
The idea is to add a switch (i.e. a box to mark ) to allow one or more of the commands to be chained to be executed in interactive mode , instead then automatically
That obviously is not desirable for normal batch, but may be really useful for edit little series of images with similar characteristic : sufficiently similar that the same settings are a good starting point for all the series , but then some in the series would benefit of some manual fine tune .
And then i would love also for another reason: both of my favorite plugins, Gmic and Mathmap doesn't support saving & loading presets , BIMP now may do well and may even combine them, only limit that as now BIMP doesn't allow filters to be called interactively
Now i don't know C but i have the doubt that do should be no much more complex to replace " run Not_Interactive ..." with a if statement as " if ... run Not_Interactive else run Interactive " (obviously "Run not Interactive" is not the correct C syntax , but is the sense of the command to be given )
And that should even allow to store and use much more easily Mathmap and even Gmic presets, and any combination you may imagine
