I'm running Vista on this laptop which I believe is 64 bit? I might just have to start liking 2.8. It'll have to happen one day! :)

Regretfully I don't seem to be able to get it to work via the PDB, below I've tried using the font "Top Secret Bold" It could be such a useful plugin :gaah

(plug-in-freetype 1 image
drawable
"Top Secret Bold" ;font-file
100 ;size
0 ;unit-id
0 ;transform-xx
1 ;transform-xy
1 ;transform-yx
0 ;transform-yy
TRUE ;kerning
TRUE ;hinting
TRUE ;antialiasing
FALSE ;outline
0spacing
"Top Secret") ;text

Thanks Samj, now I know, (the font location Instead of a name is a bummer though!)
the 4 transformation settings are a mystery though, I keep getting the text reversed and inside-out? :gaah
