 Post subject: Is it possible to run a "Shortcut Key" through an SCM?

I was thinking although there doesn't seem to be a procedure call for running the last filter used INTERACTIVELY for more than one layer. Is it then possible to have a script call shortcuts to undo (ctrl + z) the last run filter and then re-run it on user specified multiple layers INTERACTIVELY (shif + ctrl +f) ?
OR can
