Yeah, most of the scripts and plug-ins were hosted in gimpscripts or the gimpregistry site. Those sites are dead.
You can still use waybackmachine to download them.
The problem is that 99% of the old scripts won't work in 2.10 without some change in the code. Python plug-ins usually do work.

V 1.7 minor update:

I wouldn't recommend the scrolling plugin as it can break other plugins/scripts (at least it used to), I haven't tested it in a long time. No need for it here in Linux anyway as you can use the ALT + Click to drag it anywhere you want.

Racer-x is correct. I used AltDrag on Windows machines.

I strongly protest against such statements.
The GnuTux solution is brilliant and works very well.

Problems occur when:
1. You install the plug incorrectly.
2. You will use the wrong version.

Bad installation or the wrong version are the causes of problems for each plugin.

Yes the version of script-fu scrolling plugin that caused problems was originally designed for Gimp 2.8. I added your Scrit-Fu scrolling made for Gimp 2.10.20 ubuntu-64bit and all is well so far without issues. If anything comes up, I'll let you know.

I presented the newer version to to user "Heart1010" and like MareroQ I protest those statement also. I have a few of Gnu Tux scripts and they all work fine in Windows. I'm not going to recommend something that I haven't tested myself.
