I don't know what that error might be Molly. I've never seen anything like it.
Here's a BRL Tree.

Another nice one Wallace. :bigthup
It looks like BRL has gone above and beyond it's original concept with all the creative ways folks have found to use it. This thread is awesome!

I know I know I said no more BRL mandalas, but at least I am not putting it in Wallace's thread.

However, I just wanted to knock something up quickly to test out the new Frame Factory I download yesterday. By accident I 'selected' everything in the image for BRL to work on. Oh serendipity you are wonderful - it ended up deserving a quality frame and it got one.

Image

Love BRL and what it produces - now I can do justice to the images with easy to do frames.

Having quite accidentally produced my previous post image, I decided to try my luck further again using BRL on total B/W image transformations, by selecting all separate components with the 'wand' then using previous mandala images as the 'map' for BRL.

I was absolutely astounded at what BRL produced and very quickly too. Of course I then used the frame factory to set them off. Here are just a couple of a dozen I produced in quite a short time.

Such a powerful combination and so productive too. Isn't GIMP terrific! Off to do some Combagui tuts now - more fun.

Thank you 2-ton for your comment.

We have had a few very hot days so I have not gone into the garden to work, instead I'm cultivating GIMP and BRL - well that's today's excuse anyway.

Looks like blue is the colour of the day.

Thanks Wallace, but its you that really needs to take the plaudits(blame?) because you got me into this!!

So just to prove it does not have to be mandalas, I tried out a random combination of Ofnuts multi path generation/stroking/filling scripts and ran BRL against various resulting elements. It is just crazy what these scripts can produce in terms of abstract works!

I have been unable to get this plug-in to work in the 2.8 version of Gimp Portable. The script is there but when I try to use it I am told that the plug-in is not, even though I have tried the plug-in in more than one folder. I am using Windows 7 64 bit and have the 64 bit version of the plug-in. Could anyone please help with this?
