Zero response - because the topic is not serviceable solutions ?
Old topic - how to connect with Inkscape - GIMP ?
Using XNViewShell OpenOffice can export to (unfortunately, there is no possibility of direct return.)
Is this stupid? (may need to think globally!-my leader Partha [2.7.2 for WIN ] showed that anything is possible ! )
GIMP (using XNViewShell *. png) -> OpenOficce (Draw) -> export (*. svg -> Inkscape, or *. png -> GIMP ? )
Any news about plans to call Gimp -> Inkscape -> Gimp ?

I am really falling in love with this script. For some unknown reason, I just started getting a new error message that I never used to get. I noticed it last night for the first time. When using some PS plugins, I am getting an error that says "FilterMeister Run-time Exception" and "Memory Access violation". I can't find any reference to FilterMeister on my computer. These same plugins worked a couple of days ago. So now I use one of my other programs to run these plugins, by using the shell script! I am so thankful for this script!!

That is supposed to tell the program Gimp to save the temp file as an certain extension, and open it in that program as that extension i believe.
I did try it this way and it didn't work.

I haven't changed the code to do that yet...

Inkscape is SVG - not designed for raster images, so not sure what you are asking for.

Don't know about open office, as I don't use it.

Other various programs (really very small) support svg - why not Gimp?
XNViewShell - This is a new quality
With your script [ which I admire [http://silent9.com/incoming/scripts/]
result in new opportunities ... (and are still in need new GURM ....)
I will repeat - only you can help us - for free programs ...

Hy i am wrong or the script may be adapted to load the GTK theme switcher ?
I will love a "Theme switcher" entry in my gimp menu

It is very hard re read 17 pages of topic but i see that many already hacked the script to add new program...could you try to add the GTK theme switcher if you have installed...please !

You should be able to just go to Edit/Pref/Themes and choose one PC. :)
If you have themes 1.0 installed it creates 15 dif theme folders in your - gimp-2.0/share/themes folder.

Sure i get and i may use but i was meaning something else:

actually to access to the theme manager or i must leave another icon on the desktop or search in "all program list", i don't like neither

Since is for Gimp themes i would like a entry in the gimp Edit menu just under preference and i was wondering if a simplicated(simplificated because would not have to send images ,wait for output and close the program ... but only load it but form a option in the gimp menu) verson of this script would do the trick
