Well, as someone puts it, I'm making Gimp look like Inkscape, one script at a time

In other words, those who use paths that much should look at Inkscape. One of these days I will

I spend so much time in gimp that I fumble around in Inkscape anymore with my gimp shortcuts that it ends up being counter productive. Besides, Inkscape has never been very stable for me. The only time I really use it is when I really need to have angled guides or something overly complicated for gimp. (ie..merge paths properly)
I hearby promote you to main developer for the path interface for the gimp core.
Seriously, gimp is right that it's not a full fledged vector program and it shouldn't be, but it still needs some basic functions to work properly or better.
Path Intersections and merging
Path Groups
Basic Shapes Tools (not scripts)
I could go on.......
Thank you for making gimp a better program. I would be lost without your scripts/plugins. I'll keep pushing though to get this stuff into the core.

P.S.
My avatar was completely built in gimp using paths.
