I prepared a 64-bit Windows portable version with many plug-ins and scripts.
It is based on the version compiled by Jernej Simoncic, a big thank you to him.

To install you need to unpack in the root of a hard drive or USB key.
Do not unpack into a directory with accented characters or contain spaces.

exactly was i was hoping to reinstall gimp and start tweaking it on my new laptop

i lose y previous attempt in a crash but now at least i may test also with Win 8..

for testing PhotoComix.

I personally use Windows 8 64-bit for a long time and there is no particular problem with Gimp.

That's right, but I do not have very interesting filters to put in

i have a lot but select the most interesting would be a hell of a job
i have the whole collection

are more then 1.000 and often are a bit primitive :
As example there is 1 that make a nice yellow glow, and 1 a red glow,1 a green glove ,and so on and on
cool glow but alas none allow to change position of center of the glow,
... now we will expect 1 single filter that also makes a nice glow but with option to change colour and position and will cover all of them and more.
just a example ..

anyway i may upload my collection ...it is already online from long but i may found easier upload again then trace the link

now i know where place in gimp my userfilter filters without have to modifythe path ! thank Samj

The original FF filters ? Sure , i had to search in my back up DVDs, i may upload tomorrow



It is not needed for the "gegl operations" ?
I don't use often except c2g and the "gegl" Kaleidoscope

Do you want the compiled version (.8bf) or the FF codes ?

But i noticed a few problems that i think better reports

1) apparently the quickmask button (on the lower left of imagine window ) disappeared
It was another way to call the quickmask, if i remember well from Tools/selection tools but also there no trace of quickmask

2) about Gegl :
with or without gegl.exe, it seems that gegl could not find any of his operations

the gegl operations are all in ...lib/gegl-0.2, maybe the folder is not properly linked ?

Today I'll update the archive after compiling the new version of Bimp.
I will make an announcement about Bimp.

Presets, Filters :
I will add the links in the "lisez-moi.txt" file in the archive.
People can download filters and "presets" and use them according to their taste.
