I don't know what to use them for either. Interesting. If I knew anything about Islam, perhaps I'd know better what to do with them.

Islam , as some Cristian groups in the past, forbid the representation of God , and of whatever God may have created

Now this is usually enforced only within the Holy places, but is the reason why Islam visual art was focused on decoration , decorative patterns, and calligraphic artworks and why they excelled in that fields
