i saw some opening titles to a tv series that i liked the look of, so i tried to make something similar in gimp. it's also inspired by a song.

! i can pick up inspiration from the weirdest places, opening titles of a tv-series isn't such a strange place, is it? the funny thing is i do make screenshots of things like that, but i never look at them again, once i've taken the picture i can remember all the important parts of it.

. and yes it's a lovely song though i hadn't really heard it until last week. i think it's an age thing, us young people under forty don't know much about stone age music like fleetwood mac...

willy: thank you! i didn't make the bird from scratch. i used a photo of a bird, desaturated it and adjusted the brightness and contrast, then i experimented with the rodilius filter in g'mic til i got what i wanted. then i made parts of it transparent.

I really like this!

The colors look nice, it's seems bright and cheery with a slight bit of another tone...Kinda like an Alice in wonderland type emotion...I guess the feel would be "wonder".

I do not know the song from the title, but my parents have listened to older stuff around me so I might know it if I heard it. xD

I think I'm the only person left in my generation that likes music that's from American Folk Singer "John Denver" so anything is possible. LOL
