Not finished piece, but I'm stuck for ideas.
Just posting here to get it outta my head and hopefully forget about this work :hehe .

Inkscape-Illustrator-GIMP

*Lucid dreaming is a moment of clarity when inside your dream you realize that you're dreaming. :)
It took the length of entire "The Division Bell" album to create.

I purposely posted the original size. If you zoom in at about 1600% of the original size image,
in some letters (e.g. E letter) you'll see that even the tiniest dots are filled with gradients.

At soon i opened the page the image displayed at gigantic size and i found the detail of the ..header really nice i love the colors and decorative patterns there ,the letters and the butterflies around

But now should be hard find or do something adapt and at same level to put below , i think i would crop large the "header" and create something more around , make it be the centre of a self standing work and not more just a decorated title

thanks everyone!

@Esper,hea4ty it didn't take too long. I work fast, use k/board shortcuts a lot (I mean a lot, Blender school ;) )

@ AnMal yes paisleys, that's exactly what i was thinking while working :)

@PC If i decided to continue this work it is going to look a lot different. Without butterflies for sure. First i wanted just to go with text, then decorate
the surrounding areas accordingly. It is still work in progress. The truth is i decided to take a break from my 3d projects and
do some stuff with vector graphics program.

@Erisian Thank you, Eris! :bigthup

Never seen this piece of art from you, Esper. It's lovely.
I too wanted to put more ornament around, maybe self-made patterns with crazy amount of detail.
But what i've done already was enough for one day (1.5 hrs without interruption wears you down mentally).
Will get back to it later this week. Maybe. LOL. There's always maybe in my case :mrgreen:

I like the way the monochrome butterfly contrasts with the colourful text. Certainly the kind of thing that would appear in a dream.
Nice choice of album btw, not my personal favourite from the post Walters era but very good none the less.

thanks Caz, molly, Moko!

@Caz when i'm on the creativity spree i get too much excited, which doesn't really help
the process. To calm myself down i put on a music. This Pink Floyd album does a better
job, sometimes i listen to a music with embedded binaural beats.

I like all the work, but the parts with colors are beautiful in that black background

Thanks for the tip off, I'd never heard of binaural beats before.
I just did a quick search and found a site with an embedded player that played some of the beats, without music though. They certainly sounds interesting although I only listened for a couple of minutes. Straight off I was reminded of Pink Floyd, I think they might have been using this technique for years.
