No. I dont use scripts. I dont know if there is any for making puzzle.
1.
I Add + Plane subdivide 4-5 times.
2.
In Face Mode I create my puzzle pieces in different shapes, with P select them together.

Move your puzzle behind the camera and drag each pieces forward for every 20 frame.
