3D model I made in Blender 3D, and the sheet music, background, colour changes, text, and edit of the photos into the little circles I did in GIMP.

No, sadly the relationship didn't last that long. Shame, I was going to have it play "Angels" by the XX, a song so romantic I can't get through it without tearing up.

I have this idea for a music box where the music cylinder for the music box is two engagement rings. If you add one ring to the spool, it only plays every other note. It's only when you put them both together that they play the true melody... alas. The song will never be finished.

Don't have your hopes up CRogers. Just make the contraption and make sure it works, when the right lady comes along and it is far enough into the relationship, then you would already have it made just for her.

Oh, I'm fine thanks, lylejk. Far from hopeless, and actually looking forward to a new experience with someone more compatible with my lifestyle. I'm going the internet route this time. Random chance was fun for the first five relationships, but I figured that I've actually been quite insane for not going online to find a match. It's not about expanding your options, it's about narrowing it down!

That doesn't mean that I will not miss her, though. We are still good friends, which is much more than I can say for the previous four, so all in all, I'm satisfied with the situation. 5 years is a long time together, though. Think it's hard for both of us on levels we are not properly ready to admit.

I wish you luck. It's not a route I would have deliberately chosen but I was very pleasantly surprised.
