I updated my post to warn about the incompatibility. I appreciate the feedback. I would point out that Script-fus do not have to be executable in order for GIMP to use them, so if you were thinking that the old script could be "hidden" by clearing the executable flag, this is not the case. You could move the script or rename to have a different extension than .scm (but for the
sg-calendar-year.scm file, it is no longer needed and I'd recommend purging it from your system, never to be seen again
