Fun tool to play
I would love a 3d version , would allow much more then just play

maybe could be a cool project for Blender artists, create modules to assemble custom 3d spaceships

Hallo PhotoComix, in blender I would it better by modelling, see there some interesting Spaceship. Most the them even low polygons models and texture and bum map make it look fantastic.

Yet i would like a similar tool i mean so simple and intuitive, based as this on pre build yet customizable modules , but for 3D spaceships

How to play with spaceships if i could not change their prospective ?

hmmm... i'm usually happy with 2d graphics but i'm starting to think it might be fun if you could change perspective - so yes, i agree that a version of this with 3d parts might be fun.
