Beautiful pictures AnMal, love the way your shaped around the edges to make it into a frame, very original. That lily pond is really something. Love the swimming hole too.

All very nice and rich of atmosphere

But i am curious about the image ratio, it seems unusual , for prints and even more for computer screen

molly: thank you :)! the lily pond is actually just a messy ditch. :hehe the little lake or natural pond (never know what to call it in english!) is only a couple of hundred meters from my house, so i've taken lots of walks around there over the years. bathed there too but never enjoyed it, feels like there are too many creepie-crawlies living at the bottom...

photo comix: thank you! yes, the aspect ratio is unusual. i have that as a preset on my camera, don't know what it's intended for, but i like it. the proportions of a standard photo are not really my thing, i prefer square photos or photos prolonged in one direction. but accidentally, these are the exact proportions of my screen :)!

wbool63: thank you for the comment :)! i agree, it's a good idea to put it on the desktop and i haven't changed mine in a while so why not?

Looks like it's panoramic but portrait instead of landscape. It works well for your uses though. Those are some beautiful shots.

Wow! :jumpclap
After seeing your photos from your England visit and now these... I guess I need to add 'Photographer Extraordinaire' to your long list of varied talents.

Very nice photos AnMal, I like the size and the way you have framed them.

ek22: thank you! like i said i have a bit of a problem with the usual photo format, this works better for me. i think it's because of school - too many a4s.
fluffybunny: oh heavens, that's a very flattering comment! what is it you want from me now? :hehe *suspicious*
he4rty: thank you :)! i liked the frame alc59 made for his autumn pictures so i first thought i'd make something similar - it turned out very differently :).

I don't understand people that hate this time of the year. It's absolutely gorgeous. Nice photos!
