I know that there's a way of making a gradient from an image, but I can't seem to remember how that's done.
I've done it before, by cutting out a piece of an image that I wanted to make a gradient out of, and then dragging across this image to sample all the colors, which in turn made the gradient.
I know I'm not going nuts, because I've done this before... Just can't find the script or whatever it is that can do this.
Any ideas?

(I'm currently using Gimp 2.6.11)

Yes, thanks you. I did however find the answer to my question by going to the 'GIMP Plugin Registry'. As well as looking through my 'scripts folder'.
Once this script 'Sample Gradient from Image' is installed, the option to sample a gradient for an image will show in the gradients menu and also from a path.
Thanks Erisian for your quick response to my question. I knew I wasn't crazy. :hehe

That's interesting Molly, I didn't know this existed. Got to check that out.
