That's pretty close. Here's the shrek script in the greenish gray text.

You might also try the Glass effect, located in the same place. Crank the transparency of the text up till it is opaque or nearly so, then you can adjust the drop shadow to suit.

Let me try this again:

I noticed that I am missing the Shrek text script, which I always loved. I downloaded the FX Foundry set, but many of the scripts simply don't work. Shrek text doesn't show up in any menu. Does anyone know if there is a version of the FX Foundry collection that is compatable with Gimp 2.6?

Hmm. I've been using 2.6.11 all along and haven't had any problems compatibility-wise, but I have no idea what version of FX-Foundry I'm using, just that I got if from a link here on GimpChat within the past...oh...90 days or so.

Correction: the archive has the name gimpfx-foundry-scriptpack-20080323.zip

That's funny, when i click "logo" in the FX menu, the mac script runs...lol
I do not know what the heck is going on with that.It did however try to use the Shrek font when i first loaded the dialog though, so it must be the Shrek logo script.

Thanks for clearing that up Bob!

Greg, i have a link to the one i use here.

I downloaded the FX Foundry scripts and the Shrek text script still doesn't, so I put in the old one again.

The one I have is updated to v2.4. Dunno if there's a 2.6 version but it works fine for me.

Try this add-on for FireFox 2-ton.

Some of the glossy button scripts would make nice shiny text if they would do text.

I use that Google translate all the time. works perfectly......
I had a guy who asked a big long question in Portuguese in my trailer site. I answered him back in his own language. I copied and pasted what he posted into the box and identified it as portuguese so I was able to write his answer. It is cool http://translate.google.com/#en|es|
