I am back using MyPaint for lineart (if only Gimp has canvas rotation...) and try new brush setting which is... smoother, it seems... :roll:

Thank you Zeo, I could never find the correct brush when it came down to the fine stuff, like the eyes and other tiny places. I will move that one to my favorites.

Wow Zeo the ballpoint pen never thought of using it for drawing. for cell shading it would work well I guess I always used http://download.gna.org/mypaint/brushpacks/tone_v2.zip for inking. etc.
Can't argue with your results though, never mock the ballpoint pen.

A bit offtopic yet related in a way I just uploaded a small vid on youtube about inking in gimp, just though I'd share with you.instead of using up a whole new topic. Inking in gimp2.8 (not my best drawing just quick sketches for demonstration purposes.)

as far as canvas rotation in gimp lol you could turning your screen and tablet in circles lol easier if you have a laptop*jokes*.

Really Hi Quality work especially love your Gundam style work.. Your a master of mecha :cool .
