this was inspired by two of conbagui's designs - the one with the baubles and the one with the candles. but of course my snowflakes are paisleys, the colour is a bit darker and the candle flame was a bit more paisley like too ...
it's not exactly perfect . i had problems with getting both glow and colour on the flame at the same time and then i didn't like the way the candle looked 3d but the flame looked painted in. i think it will have to do, though, i have too much to do to work any more on this. oh, and the text to the right is from a swedish christmas carol about the star of bethlehem.

Wow those paisleys compliment the shape of the candle light so well. its like a magical winter candlelight snowflake blizzard if that's possible, a blizzard has never seemed so warm before.

molly: thank you ! i liked the palette i used for this, there are both cold and warm blues and the go from light to dark.
mokonafan: thank you . i like the flame in itself, i think. i just don't like it together with the candle, they are like two different styles.
